Framed canvas adds an Italian pine floating frame, 2″ deep with a 1.375″ face, in satin black, satin white or natural wood. Metal is dye-sublimated onto 1.15 mm aluminium with a gloss white base and ECO PASSPORT certified ink, fitted with a 1″ black frame that floats it off the wall. Canvas and framed canvas ship with a sawtooth hanger, or wire and mounting hardware on larger sizes.
A portrait takes 5 to 10 business days to create and print, then a further 2 to 7 business days in transit from the moment the courier picks it up. Free shipping across Canada and the United States. Packed shrink wrapped with corner protectors in a durable corrugated box; metal adds a wood frame around all edges.

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. No cleaners, solvents or water. Metal is rated for interior and exterior use and handles humidity, so it suits bathrooms and kitchens; canvas and framed canvas are better kept out of them. Keep any print out of prolonged direct sun.

We print at 150 PPI at full physical output size. Any smartphone photo taken in good lighting over the last five years easily clears our print requirements. To avoid low quality, always upload the original image file straight from your camera roll rather than a recompressed screenshot or a photo saved from a text thread.

How long does a portrait take to reach me?
Custom digital creation and printing take 5 to 10 business days. Courier transit adds another 2 to 7 business days depending on your location.
Can I see a proof before you print?
Yes! Digital proofs are free upon request. Simply add a note in your cart at checkout, and we will email you a preview before sending your portrait to press. Production pauses until you reply. If we don’t hear back within 3 business days, we proceed with printing your file as submitted to keep your order on schedule.
Does the paint splatter style obscure faces?
No. Our artists carefully balance the abstract paint splatters around key features like eyes, smiles, and facial contours, ensuring the portrait stays true to the people (or pets) in your photo.
Can you combine multiple photos into one portrait?
We work from one single file per portrait to maintain natural lighting and composition. We do not build multi-photo collages, so pick and upload your favourite single image before placing your order.
How does my portrait arrive, and how do I hang it?
Canvas and framed canvas prints arrive ready to hang with pre-installed sawtooth hangers (or heavy-duty wire hardware on larger sizes). HD metal prints arrive with a hidden 1" rear mounting frame that floats the artwork off the wall.
Is it actually printed in Canada and the US?
Yes! Every portrait is custom created, printed, hand-framed, and shipped locally from our facility in Toronto, Canada.
