From your photo to the finished portrait, here’s what to expect.

Is my custom portrait painted by hand?

No. Our design team digitally renders your photo in the art style you choose. It’s an interpretation of your photo, printed on canvas, framed canvas, or HD metal rather than a hand-painted original.

Which photo files can I upload?

Upload a JPG or PNG file up to 150 MB. Use the original, full-size image where possible rather than a screenshot or social-media download. We check every file and contact you before production if it looks too low-resolution for the chosen size.

Can I see a proof before my custom portrait is printed?

Yes. Request a free proof in your cart note before checkout and we’ll email a preview, pausing production for your reply. If you don’t reply within 3 business days, printing proceeds with the file as supplied; without a request, the order proceeds without a proof.

Can you combine photos into one custom portrait?

No. We work from one photo per portrait and don’t create multi-photo collages. Any number of people or pets can be included in that one image, so choose a photo where the important faces are clear and in focus.

How long does a custom portrait take to arrive?

Allow 5–10 business days for your portrait to be created and printed, followed by 2–7 business days in courier transit. A requested proof can add time while we wait for your reply, and peak periods can take longer.

Can I return my custom portrait?

No. Custom portraits are made to order and are final sale. If yours arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the portrait, packaging, and shipping label; we’ll replace it where possible or refund it if a replacement isn’t possible.
